Blogger In Draft / How to install my backgrounds

This background is 2000 X 1400 pixels each

It's meant for layouts 1000 pixels wide and have a drop shadow on each side.
I used mine with the new Blogger in Draft Template Designer,which you can find HERE.

Go to http://draft.blogger.com/  to log in to Blogger in Draft. (If you’ve never been
there before, Blogger in Draft is just like regular Blogger, except with new,
in-development features like this one.) Click on your blog’s “Layout” link to go to
the Layout tab. The link to the Template Designer is at the end of the row of sub-tabs.
dashboard
You can use the live preview to see your new template without affecting your blog.
When you find a new look that you’re happy with, just click the “Apply to Blog”
button to publish it to the world. Note: You can backup your existing template ahead
of time by going to Layout > Edit HTML. We recommend this if you have a customized blog
design that you might want to go back to.

My Layout in Template Designer
Classic template blogs: If you have a “Template” link or tab instead of “Layout,” you’ll
first need to switch from Classic to Layouts before you can try out the Template Designer.
Go to Classic > Customize Design and follow the instructions there. You’ll need to switch
to one of our old templates first, but then you’ll be able to use the Template Designer to
pick a new one.

Adjust width

adjust the width of your layout easily with a slider.
I chose the max 1000 pixels in width, which is just right for my backgrounds.
Advanced: Here's where you can select your personal options for;
Fonts

Tabs
Date Header

NOTE: ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR TEMPLATE BEFORE ALTERING AND SAVE TO YOUR DESKTOP FOR SAFETY!

Being a newb, I didn't have much success with the Add CSS when trying to apply
my background, so I used the old method of going to Customize > Edit HTML and applying
the needed HTML.

** HOW TO INSTALL THE TEMPLATE **
Upload your template on a web host like www.imageshack.us or
www.photobucket.com for instance. Then copy the direct link you get.
On your blogger dashboard, go to :
> Layout
> Edit HTML
Find the HTML code starting with :
body {
background:$bgcolor;
then paste the following code :
background-image:url(http://i....jpg); apply your link between the ( ).
background-position:center;
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-attachment: fixed;
Save your template and your blog should wear the new design !

Long winded I know, but that's it!

NOTE: My next post will have some backgrounds for download and free of use.
